50’s Plus Pilates Workout

Come along and join my lunchtime class!

This Pilates class is suitable for those with joint pain, back pain, mobility and balance issues.  It will help with your core strength, flexibility and general body awareness.

Tuesday morning classes for babies, toddlers and pre-school children

Clockwork Music warmly welcomes you back! Classes resume at the lovely Thame Barns Centre in September. Term starts on Tuesday 21st September 2021 and offers fun, educational, music classes for babies, toddlers and pre-school children.

Tuesday class times:

9.30 am Tick Tock for 1-2 year olds

10.15 am Clockmakers 1 for 2-3 year olds

11.00 am Clockmakers 2 for 3-4 year olds

11.45 am Rock Around The Clock for Babies

A little bit about our classes:

At the heart of every class are Tock the Clock and Brown Bear, they feature in core songs and provide structure within the weekly classes. Children love to wind Tock the Clock and watch him choose the special song of the week.

All classes combine familiar and new elements in a structured way, so that our weekly sessions feel familiar yet fresh, featuring core songs, topical songs, music and movement, instrument time and sensory moments.

Four separate age groups are offered using age-specific curriculum, written and delivered by qualified, experienced music teachers.

CBT is a talking therapy that aims to help one understand the way our thoughts and behaviours are connected with difficulties we experience in life and the associated distress we feel. Once one understands connections that are unhelpful we can work together in therapy to experiment with change, employing a range of effective therapy strategies.
It is an evidenced based therapy that has been found to be very helpful in the management of anxiety problems, depression, stress reactions and relationship difficulties.
I have 25+ years experience working in the NHS as a CBT psychotherapist, both in clinical practice and in training and supervising CBT therapists in the UK and internationally.

Monkey Music understands that music is fundamental to a pre-school aged child’s development. Based on an innovative and progressive curriculum, our classes introduce music to children in a way that they can easily understand and enjoy.

One of the first pre-school activities to launch in the sector, our unique teaching curriculum was written by classically trained musicians. Classes are small and encourage children to learn with their carers and friends through catchy songs, games and dances that you will all remember for years to come.

We will initially offer the following age-specific classes:

  • Rock ‘n’ Roll – babies from 3 months
  • Heigh-Ho – toddlers from 12 months
  • Jiggety-Jig – 2 & 3 year olds
